F1 Championship 1970

In 1970 both Bruce McLaren and Jochen Rindt were killed in accidents, though Jochen Rindt became the first posthumous champion. Ken Tyrrell ran DFV powered Matra's, although at end of the season he entered cars under the Tyrrell name. At the end of the season Jack Brabham retired as a driver to continue to run the Brabham team.
